Yes I remember racing against Gavin as a Junior and I even
beat him once ( and probably only once)

For women I would suggest
Heidi Hopkins - placed 5th in the Women's World
Championships once
Cindy Olavarri
Inga Thompson - qualified for the 84 Olympic team in her
first year of racing.
Karen Kurreck - Winner of the first World TT
championship for women
for Track
Jeff Solt - Beat Marty N. for the Track Sprint championship
and made the world track team a few years.
For Cross
L. Malone, Natwick, Rachel Lloyd, Gina Hall, and a few
others I can't think of now.
