  1. Greetings,

I like salt. I have been told by people that I should not put so much
salt on my food because it is "bad for me". I don't have high blood
pressure. I don't suffer from dehydration. What bad thing is this salt
going to cause to happen to me? Are these people speaking hogwash?

    Thank you for your time,
    William

  2. I believe if you drink enough water the salt content is just going to flush
out of your body and you need more anyway. This could be hard on your
kidneys though making them work overtime.

    Greetings,

"Hard on my kidneys"? I currently have no kidney problems. Does
eating a lot of salt long term increase the chances of this or that
kidney problem? Please note that I am not asking about a person with a
kidney problem eating salt. I am asking if a person who does NOT have
a kidney problem will develop one by eating salt as this post seems to
    perhaps imply?

    Thanks,
    William
