  1. I'm guessing that by flipping a Salsa SUL clamp-on stem,
    that the stiff upper lip would now be at the bottom,
    eliminating the benefit of that feature. Is that correct?

    I would have no fear of failure in a Salsa stem,
    flipped or not.
