Among the replies to my post of a pasta salad that I used Wishbone
Robusto Italian dressing on, there were some comments I looked forward
to. Specifics were Sheldon: actually I'd not use Wishbone, I'd whip
up my own with fresh lemon juice, an excuse to use some robusty estate
oliff earl, and Elaine: Sounds ok to me too. I would probably make my
own dressing. Those bottled dressings leave a weird aftertaste.
Though I didn't notice an unpleasant aftertaste with the Wishbone,
flavor sure did linger enough to curb appetite during the evening. I
do have good aged olive oil on hand, along with fresh, home grown
lemons. Sheldon, Kiki, others, please share recipes or give
guidance. For lack of better word choices, what are the specific
ingredients for your your own fresh-made robust oil & vinegar salad
dressings?
