saddle presure

I started using a cut out saddle on the advice of my doctor. I never had numbness, but I mentioned to him that I was a cyclist and he suggested the cut out saddle just to be safe. If you get numbness, you should first consult your doctor(might not be a cycling problem), then your LBS and have the seat adjustment checked, and then look into new saddles.

I also use a cut out saddle suggested form all the cyclist at my local bike shop as well as my Dr. who also happens to be a cyclist. I used the selle italia max flite for a bit but I am currently selling it as it does nothing but make my rear end scream. BUT keep in mind that this has nothing to do with the quality of the saddle. I ordered my Cobb cycling saddle which has the reputation to be VERY comfortable with an unheard of 6 month comfort guarantee...dont like it..return it no questions asked. nothing to loose. In fact its so well enginered that Mr. Lance armstrong is currently using it if I'm not mistaken.
