    Here are two pictures of the damage wrought:

    1. This is my attempt at relieving stress at the expanded part of the
    steerer near the bottom. Since that wasn't successful, the cut just above
    the grinding was the attempt at cutting the tool off. This is the one that
    went down to 22 or something mm. Notice that the steel portion is brazed
    together with the aluminum upper. The crown race is largely untouched,
    minus the pull deformations from the crown race puller. The fork
    delamination is almost certainly not our fault.

    2. This is my boss's attempt at getting the setter off. He was successful,
    but appeared to cut nearly all the way through the steerer to get it off.

    Hi, Phil, maybe you guys should stick to photography (those pictures
    are very clear) and let someone else handle the mechanical stuff?
