Does it really make sense to have message boards on a manufacturer's site?
1. There may already be an independent alt. newsgroup, topica list or yahoo groups list for
unvarnished information.
2. If the company edits them, they end up not being "vibrant".
3. If the company does not edit them, you can end up with the occasional guy with an unreasonable
gripe who bores people to tears about his minor complaint. He might not even be a customer --
suppose Mike V* decided to start "contributing" to mountain bike manufacturer bulletin boards?
