Hey all. Its been a while since I posted here. I dropped biking a few
years ago cuz I got busy with other sports. I've moved from the Bay
Area to Sacramento area recently and I want to find some rides for
after work now that we are going to have some longer days. Nothing too
technical, just getting back into riding. I work in North Sac and live
in Galt. I googled some promising trails around Folsom Lake and the
Latrobe loop. I use Jackson Highway sometimes to get home and Folsom
wouldn't be a bad drive either. Anyone ridden these trails recently?
Are they pretty well populated? Not too isolated? Got any tips on
parking or where to start on the trails?

to time), but I'd really have to dig. If you don't get any responses, send
me an e-mail. I've ridden the trail by Folsom Lake. Its certainly not
technical, but its an OK trail. Its north of the lake, so you have to
drive a fair bit to get to the trailhead.Gonna get toasty there in a few months. :-(

Thanks 😉 I found the ogre site and a few other sites. I was just
looking for any recent observations. Guess I will just have to check
things out before it gets too toasty.
