I fairly often go on short business trips and don't like to check any
bags, so I try to pack light. Probably my single bulkiest item is my
running shoes.
I am thinking about getting a pair of running sandals, in hopes they
would pack flatter, perhaps this "Bite Enerstrap" model:

Or maybe Tevas, although they seem awfully pricey for what they are.
Anybody tried running in sandals?

Forget the black wingtips, just where your running shoes. F*&^ 'em if they
can't take a joke.

I can't imagine running in those things, and how much less space are
they going to take up in your suitcase anyway?
