Two questions, I have read The Complete Book of Running, GAlloway's Book of Running & Heart Monitor
Training for the Compleat Idiot. Anyone like to recommend their favourite running books and why they
like them e.g. lots of good info, information well presented & easy to understand, just a good read.
Also, what is the feeling on here with regards stretching. I used to stretch before and after my
runs, but some people have advised against it. Instead I have started walking a bit at the start and
the end to stimulate the joints and get the blood flowing. Seems to work OK, haven't had any
problems to speak off. Even Galloway says he doesn't stretch much and he seems to think that
stretching is more often a cause of injury rather than a preventer.
