  1. I had an oats allograft procedure done on my right knee in Jan 2003. I've had a excelelent physician
take care of for the past year, and she's recommending that I don't run for now, but to wait and
see. I'm also told not to kneel on my right kneeI've been released from her care.

The OATS allo graft was placed under my right knee cap. I'm right now swimming, and doing the
eliptical trainer, and I don't experience any pain in my knee. I'm able to go up and down the stairs
without any pain, but I really miss running.

I used to do alot of weight training(heavy squats, heavy leg pressses, heavy leg extentsion 5-8 rep
range) prior to this that may have added to the damage. Anyway I can return to just running(2-6
miles)with some moderate weight training (15-20 rep range).

    Thanks, George
