From what I can see, they're not posted yet. Yeah, the winner did about
7h 48min. For 100km. Of RUNNING.

So how was your weekend?

I'd like to say I did 31.25km, but I took a wrong turn on my first lap,
which made it more like 31.75km :D

I am a firm believer in gradually increasing my mileage:
26 June-02 July: nil
3-9 July: 35km (Gold Coast half marathon, 11km training, 3km Queen of
the Mountain)
10-16 July: 57km (ran to uni one day, did the relay on Saturday)

:D

Tam (it's just a method of transport, it's valid, like cycling)

My weekend was good, if a bit uneventful, I'm sure things will get very
interesting this week though.

This is a bit odd...I can't see my reply to your original post, but I can
see you reply to my post..........damn public news servers!!

Is she ready to pop or what?

Tam, you are a sick, SICK woman.

Far out, 30 kms was my break point running [jogging]. After that the pain in my knees, ankles & soles of my feet were unbearable (running on asphalt), although I was in ‘the zone’ for a lot of it so otherwise I felt like I could run forever.
Stopping was the big mistake, the pain/ weariness caught up.

Maybe age & lack of consistant training, but more than 10kms training run every 2 days takes it’s toll on me.

What are you talking about? I only ran twice last week.

Oh, I would never run more than 10kms every 2nd day. Not a chance. But
yeah, those crazy ultra runners, they never stop. I think I'll continue
to run 26km once a week, to uni, and maybe a trail run on the weekend,
time on the trail doesn't count because it's so fun, like MTBing. But
I'm not running this week because I'm racing on Saturday and need to
recover from a big trg increase over the last few weeks.

Yes, she's very ready to pop. Due date is tomorrow but I think she'll now go
a little late, as the first born was three days late. But then again, what
the f*ck would I know. Everyone seems have their own "theories" on when the
baby is due and what sex it will be, and that ***** me to tears.
