Oh man it was nice out tonight - about 70 with a cool breeze from the West. I rode a Signal Peak ride with a buddy on the SS. Everything just flowed and the bike is feeling so fast. I don't know if it's me, the bike or not having 20 extra pounds of mud and actually being able to ride instead of being ridden by my bike, but it felt so right! I was just gliding up the baby head strewn climbs and floating down the descents. Great night of riding and then grilled steak tacos washed down by a fat Hornitos margarita on my return to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Must have been something in the air. I did a 14 mile ride at a local State Park (Avalon) and it was without a doubt the best ride I'd had in months.
Of course, I did it on gears so I obviously didn't experience the full monte (insert [censored] eating grin here).
