  1. I guess you have to be old enough to remember The Little Raskels to
undertsand the art of playing hookie. Well, I decided it was far too nice
of a day and the new ride was too clean. Yes, I called in sick but I did go
to the Doc to get my prescription for Clarinex refilled. I figured it would
be smart to stay as far away from Philly as possible, so I wouldn't get
caught. This meant that the Id wouldn't get a rough workout. So I drove
over to Clayton Park in Imlaystown, NJ. This was my first time there and it
really isn't all that bad. It's a little like Allaire State Park but with
some nicer climbs. I did two loops on one of the trails for about 12 miles
total. I knew I loved this bike after the Kokopelli and I'm glad its in the
stable. Now I need to test out the six inches on some drops. I'll save
that for Sunday's ride at Wissahickon and then a short road ride over to
Lemon Hill to watch the Wachovia Road Race (catch me on TV, I'll wear the
    yellow AM-B headband).

This is going in your permanent record, Mister!
