Half way through my Sunday ride home from Monarch Crest, my neck started to feel better and I got the hankering for some more riding. Knowing Mt. Falcon was on the way back, I detoured into the park, changed clothes, and headed up Castle Trail. A steep mother of a beast with water bars everywhere and some a foot or more high. I actually cleaned every one of them going up. A few rock gardens here and there, but still nothing overly technical. The climb was a [censored] though. After making it to the top, I circled the meadow trail and then began the bomb down castle. Unfortunately, that bomb was interrupted several times due to the overly crowded conditions from hikers and bikers alike. Definitely not a weekend ride. It was great fun launching off the water bars when I could.
I shot some video with the bullet cam and will put it up soon. However, the damn thing keeps fogging up on me. Viosport will be hearing from me tomorrow.
You win the prize. I thought it was quite odd that someone stuck a penis on top of the hill. I thought Slack or Bill S. would find the picture first, though.
