The first Brisbane Fixed Ride went off without a hitch, the weather
threatened rain but held off, we stuck fairly closely to the route posted
earlier (http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/7404/maproutesm5jx.jpg) with
some deviations to get closer to the river and avoid traffic around
Graceville/Yeronga.
Myself, Geckobob and PeterMc took off around 7:15 with no other takers, 35km
in total, ~1:30 riding time, average speed 24km/hr, a nice relaxed ride
(except for the part where Peter and I hit 175rpm @59 km/hr around Dornoch,
GB was speed governed by his gearing).
The bikes at Tennyson power station, L->R: GB's Apollo II, my Raleigh
SuperCourse, Peter's Peugeot PR10(?)

Anyone that's keen to join the fun is welcome, eschew spandex and plastic
bikes, to quote Dizzee Rascal, 'Fix up, look sharp', and blitz cafe racers
on the slopes.
