Route suggestions for Meikle Bin

My only recommendation is don't try approaching from the Crow Road by Lecket
Hill, that's very hard going!

I wouldn't think there's much difference in which direction you do the loop,
but I haven't been up there for a few years to see how the forestry has
developed. Exploration is part of the fun anyway.

Oh, and you might find the car park a bit busy, since a new mountain bike
facility opened there a couple of weeks ago.

Actually it was when walking Crow Road -> Cort-ma Law -> Lecket Hill a
few weeks back that I noticed Meikle Bin.

Yep. Pretty much decided to do the clockwise loop.

I noticed that in the paper at the weekend. I was planning on arriving
early, around 8:00am, and ISTR that the car park is quite large.

Does anyone know where the Mountain Bike trails run? I had a look on
their website but couldn't find a map.

Park at the reservoir car park and follow the red trail signs. It's a fig 8 loop about
7 miles long, 1 and 1/4 hrs.

Good as a night ride venue in the winter.
