Not really, but here's what I do know.

website, it looks like South-East Manchester is lacking in
cycle paths ...
Through Worsley, Eccles and Stretford on minor roads.
Don't know this bit, my knowledge starts at Stretford.

between the M60 and A5103 (Jn 5)
Will be both pleasanter and slower than using the roads. The
trail uses a lot of the path along the Mersey, which is a
bit bumpy (brick size rocks) and sandy in places.
Don't go as far along the Trail as the road junction - the
Mersey does some serious looping around here. When you get
to Chorlton Water Park turn right to take the noisy wooden
bridge across the river. This leads on to a road which is
not a public road. Keep straight on where it joins a normal
road, currently full of M60 roadworks, and go under the M60
bridge parallel with the A5103. Slight uphill to a T
junction, turn right, then left at the next non-minor
junction, signposted for cycles to Wythenshawe park I think.
Carry on for 50 yards to where the road you are on crosses a
larger road.*
Possible minor diversion: Straight on across the larger
road. The next junction brings you to the B5167 along the
north side of Wythenshawe park. Could be worth going into
the park for teastop and loo.
You could cycle south through the park, but then you will
end up on the wrong side of the A5103, just where it is
about to turn into the M56, so don't.

Easiest way to pick this up is to turn left at *. Go
straight on through a double set of traffic lights under the
A5103. You are now in Northenden, which is prone to traffic
jams any time, and I think has road works at the moment so
jams are almost guaranteed. Go past the Post House Hotel and
Jehovah's Witness Hall on the left. Where the main road that
you are on starts to bear left, turn right into a one way
street which then becomes the B5167. This is a good cycling
route, but beware cars and bin lorries hurtling over the
middle of the humpback bridge just before the tip.

The new bypass has taken a lot of traffic off the old A34,
so it can be worth using instead of minor roads.

Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.
