  1. Annotated route sheet for the 150 follows. It's acutally easier than
I though. No Rosedale Chimney for starters.

The Information Point at the Rally will be the signing on/start
    area and the finish point.

Leave on Albermarle Road [There will be signs to direct you
to Albermarle Road] to T Lights Right and continue S/O at all
junctions to go through City Walls and descend cobbled
    street.

    (Down Micklegate)

Cross river and follow road right at pedestrian area. In
30m Left on to Coppergate to T Lights S/O, over pedestrian
humps and at next T Lights Left (SP Scarbrough) and on to
one way system. Keep in Outside lane Scarbro'A1036. Right
    at T Lights (SP Scarbro'😉

At R'b't bear Left (SP HUNTINGTON, STRENSALL) S/O at all
junctions and cross the outer ring road (A1237) - follow (SP
    STRENSALL)

(It'll be well worth sticking in the group till here for ease of
    route finding)

At the Six Bells pub Left (SP SHERIFF HUTTON) and after S
bends Left (SP SHERIFF HUTTON). Cross humpback bridge.
In 1k Left® Pottery Lane (SP SUTTON ON FOREST.)

(This is all a lot of faff to avoiding riding down the B1363. I predict
a fair few people will just bash down that to Sutton-on-Forest. That said,
if you know the way, it's not much slower, just harder to navigate))

Right at T (SP SUTTON ON F) Left to join B1363 along village street
and S/O (SP HUBY) (as B1363 goes left). Follow main road
through HUBY and after village Left at T (SP Easingwold) and in
300m Right to CRAYKE. Climb village street and at Durham Ox
    pub Left.

(It's the junction towards the top of the main drag, next to the Church.
It's not a big hill or steep, but it always feels a shock after the
    total flat up till there!)

    On to OULSTON and COXWOLD.- [ 37 k ]

    (rolling hills)

After Shandy Hall Right to KILBURN. After village Left to climb
    (SP WHITE HORSE BANK) - [ 25% - 1.4 k ].

(This is hard! Steep and long)

At main road Left (SP Swainby) and in 300m Right (SP Cold
    Kirby)
    Control on Left
SUTTON BANK NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK
    CENTRE 45k
Note :- cards will be stamped in the visitors centre. There is both
a cafe and an outdoor snack bar at the centre

Left out of the centre and exit the car park In 1k Left (SP
HAWNBY) and follow to T. Right (SP Hawnby) Descend 1 in
4 and then climb to HAWNBY. At top of village follow right
and left and then immediate Right (SP Laskill)
Follow HELMSLEY over humpback bridge and at junction
    with B1363
    AUDAX INFO CONTROL

(this is a very pretty bit. Hard going though. The info is needed
to cut out some obvious shortcuts)

Continue to HELMSLEY and Left into Square.

    (rolling)

Leave Helmsley on A171 (SP Scarbro'😉 and 0.5k Left onto ,
Cariton Road (SP Youth Hostel) proceed to CARLTON and on
    for 16k to COCKAYNE
    AUDAX INFO CONTROL

Return south on other side of Bransdale and after cattle grid to
leave the moor descend to FADMOOR and on to
    KIRKBYMOORSIDE

(Bransdale is lovely. One of the best bits of cycling around here.
Long drag out of Helmsely, then a series of dips to the top, some steep.
Drop to the far end of the valley, then climb out on the other side, via more
dips, before dropping down to Kirkbymoorside)

Continue to main road and at roundabout Left (SP Scarbro'😉
Continue for 1.5k and then Right (SP MARTON) and to
    control in 4k
    Just after the "30" signs
    MARTON CONTROL 106k
Tea and homemade cakes etc are at this control
    Both routes after Marton
    Continue to GREAT BARUGH

(this bit is pretty much flat)

At T at top of village Right (SP MALTON) and proceed to
    AMOTHERBY (84k)

    (still flat)

Cross main (B1257) road (no SP) and climb for 1.8k.

    (this isn't a hard climb)

    At T Right
(SP CASTLE HOWARD) and at staggered Xroads Left (SP
    CASTLE HOWARD)
Continue straight on for 6.5k and after the descent Right at
    Xroads (SP THORNTON LE CLAY)

(Some lumps here on the castle howard road. Nothing too hard though)

Keep left through Thomton L C and AUDAX INFO CONTROL
    135/102k

(and it's pancake flat back from here)

At T Left to cross levelX to FLAXTON
    Right (SP STRENSALL)
At Six Bells pub STRENSALL you begin to retrace to the Rally

Continue S/O at all junctions - including A1237 r'b't where
    follow (SP HUNTINGTON)
Continue following YORK signs S/O at all junctions & T/Lights to
R'b't in city Take 3rd exit (keep Brigadier Gerrard pub on your
left). S/O at T/Lights, under City Walls and past the Minster.
S/O at 2 sets of T/Lights to go under walls again and pass
    Railway Station
Right at next T/Lights and S/O at next T/Lights. Left at
T/Lights onto Albermarle Road and return to Rally
    FINAL CHECK at the Information Point [ 120k ] [153k ]

Thanks Arthur, see you there. BTW I still want the fixer. Need to get
my act together to collect it. With LEL looming my weekends are spent
cycling, weeknights fettling bikes and/or resting.

I have now reformatted this to fit into four quarters of oneside of A4,
ideal for folding and putting in a map holder or ones jersey pocket.
I'll not get time to upload it until Monday, MS Word is 31K, email me
if you would like a copy before then. I could do with someone to proof
read it for me, the original PDF of the scan is 108K as is the PDF of
    the 4-way version.
