  1. Gang,
    Can anyone provide me with the measurement on the seat post along its long axis from where the seat rails clamp to the maximum insertion point just under the shock. What I am trying to figure out is if I bottom the post in the frame how much is sticking out above the frame up to where the seat rails clamp.

    1) if the post is too long, a hacksaw will solve all your problems.

    2) Why are you putting a suspension seatpost into a full suspension bike???

    2) No post is right if it's wrong. And pogo-stick seatposts are VERY wrong. Research a parallelogram seatpost like the Thudbuster. And if thats too long, you can hacksaw that down too.
