  1. Hi everyone
I'm considering to purchase a RockShox XC-32 fork for my bike.
While browsing online I found this awesome deal: a used XC32 rockshox fork for only 60€ (49£). Sounds great doesn't it? well, I'm a bit reluctant about it because part of the wheel mount is broken and has been glued back (as shown in the image).
I just wanted someone more experienced than I to take a quick look at it and tell me whether this is a bad idea or if it is a good deal. Could it just need some work to make sure it is safe tu use (like welding or something?)?

    Thanks

  2. NO!!!

It is not a good deal, IMO.

The last thing you need is for your front wheel to become entangled with the fork IF that tab breaks away, again.

BTW. UNLESS you are the one who can TIG weld that tab back into place & bolster it, it will probably cost more to repair than to replace the leg.

Also, the dental work will certainly add to the cost!!!

  3. Judging by the size and color of that "NO", it seems pretty clear that it was one heck of a stupid idea.
Glad I asked then, thanks for the help!
