If you ride it, it could become the best deal you ever made.
If you don't, well, you got shafted.

Well, I don't think the Rockhopper has ever come with 27 gears, so
something sounds a bit odd.

Why is it that after buying a bike someone post the stupid question, "did i
get a good deal or shafted?". What differance does it make now. It's best to
ask that question before you buy. The seller did'nt know what year it was?
Sounds shaddy to me. Perhaps it's a stolen bike! Post the serial number here
so someone can check to see if it's stolen and the year.;) As far as the
Rockhopper, they're a good bike.

My '03 Rockhopper certainly has 27 gears. Not sure if they did a
silver version, but then there are a number of models, basic, disk,
comp, comp disk, so there may well have been one in that colour.

Oh dear, if you're going to start pointing out people's spelling
mistakes...

Animal pelts would be 'fur'. You want to be talking about evergreens.

bomba - spelling nazi for the day

Steve I rode yesterday morning before the rain and the
rode the Proflex around town to look at Tallships which were up in
neck of the woods last week. Morning it was MTB on the Raleigh M60 and
by afternoon it was sightseeing by Proflex 856. Caught a short
shower on my way home.

Were they as much of a wash-out as they were in Newport? We had so much hype
about the traffic problems that no-one came, and those that DID brave it were
met with so much security that most left again. People were being stopped
(having shuttle-bussed from 2 miles away) for trying to bring back-packs or
pocket-knives with them. No recourse - give it up or go home, and no knives
were being returned.
Most went home, and the Parade of Sail (hah!) on Monday was ignored because :
a) it was extremely foggy most of the day
2) There was no wind
3) Most of the world had to go to work.

Pain in the bum.
