Robust safety flag?

  1. I find that plastic safety flags are good for a few months of regular use,
    but then tend to become loose (so that they don't hold at 90degr. esp when
    you're going into the wind). Mine also tend to crack/become loose/break at
    the fixing point, though they don't (usually!) get any mistreatment.

    Are any more robust models available or do I just need to get used to
    replacing them twice a year?.
