Everyone else I've seen on the podium has a lion in one hand, and a bunch of flowers or something in the other.
Todays stage winner Robbie Hunter had some other thing, like a trophy or something. How come he didn't get a lion? What is the significance of the lion anyways?

He's South African. He keeps a real one in the backyard at home.

Do you get a lion for a stage win? I think they might only go to the leader of the race for the day.
