MONTEREY, CA -- 04/16/2003 Tom Ritchey, owner of Ritchey Design, announced at Sea Otter that his
company bought the Syncros brand from Pacific Cycle.
"When I heard about Pacific buying that group but focusing on the bike lines I immediately put the
word out. It was just a matter of figuring out a deal," Ritchey said.
Ritchey intends to open a Syncros division in Vancouver, British Columbia with a separate product
manager and staff.
"We are already working on a number of products. We will make an authentic reentrance to the
market," Ritchey said.
Syncros will produce freeride and downhill products.
