  1. Someone was asking about these saddles on the C+ forum but no one had
    actually used one.Seem a reasonable price IF they do what they say.

    No, it's just plain wrong even in theory.

    According to the website:

    "[the saddle... effectively redistributes the pressure of the rider's
    weight away from that sensitive pelvic area and onto the
    gluteus maximus..."

    The gluteus maximus just happens to be the muscle that's doing most of
    the work in pedalling; anything which interferes with its movement is
    both uncomfortable and damaging to efficiency. All comfortable bike
    saddles put the rider's weight on the ischial tuberosities, two bony
    pads on the lower rear of the pelvis.
