Tomorrows forecast looks good and I shall be out riding for the first time
for over a week, yippee!
I've just had a week off work and for various reasons have not been able to
go away but have had a superb time. It started off last weekend with
windsurfing in Paving Slab Territory (Norfolk) <1> and then I spent the
weekdays on a dinghy sailing course with Offspring to unlearn my bad habits
and her to learn correctly before she adopted them.
Today I did major works to the mtb: new chainset, BB, rear mech, chain and
cassette, strip and re-assemble the rear suspension unit and adjust & lube
pedals.
Also to keep from getting bored we bought a unicycle, who needs work? (Well,
apart from the money aspect).
And Sunday...time for a ride...but what's it to be?
Test ride the newly fettled mtb or the whirr of skinny slicks on tarmac?
Hmm..decisions...decisions...
<1> I shudder to think what Helen would chuck at people in rubber-ware.
