hi everyone just got a new giant tcr 1 bike and would like to know how to find out what the best way to set my riding position up is. on all my old bikes i could never get comfy on them at all. every bike i ride i seem to need the saddle away foward to feel that i am getting all my power out. but looking at anyone else their saddles seem to be pushed back. plus i can never find the right stem height. never been able to get all the power out when riding on the drops. can anyone help. i am 6 feet tall and my inside leg is about 34 1/2 ins

I always have my saddle jammed as far forward as it will go on a 73 degree seat tube. I see others with the exact reverse all the time. I don't get it! My legs are slightly long for my height, too. I think some of it is personal preference and what you are used to.
Getting the stem height right should be relatively easy... assuming your frame is the right size. If you need more than 3cm of spacers beneath it, then you need a frame with longer seat and head tubes relative to the top tube length. There are +17 degree rise stems, so you could get the bars up pretty high that way.
