I may be heading to the United Arab Emirates. I have a few questions about
cycling there, and I would appreciate comments:
- Should I ship my bike, or should I think about buying one there? I have a
Cannondale Sport Road 1000 that I love, but if it isn't likely to survive
the trip, or will be stuck in customs for months or years, I would prefer to
leave it here in the USA.
- Do they have bike trails, or, at least bike routes?
- Is there such a thing as bike camping there?
- Am I going to incur resentment among the population if I'm seen riding
around?
Again, any comments would be appreciated.
