  1. i was just wondering if anybody knows of a good place to ride in southern alberta.

  2. If you are talking about mountain biking...my my...there are many beautiful trails in Kananaskis Country and the Bragg Creek area...people have always said that Canmore has a lot of nice stuff too but I never get sick of the K-Country area.

    Beginner...Sulphur Springs Trail
    Intermediate...Jumpingpound Ridge
    Advanced...Powderface Ridge

I recommend going to MEC to pick up 'Backcountry Biking in the Canadian Rockies'

Here is a short video that I shot yesterday...there is only about 4 km of 'bikeable' trail at the beginning of this adventure AND you have to cross a fairly strong (and cold) river to get started so I don't even take my bike when I go there...but eventually you get to see this...

...unreal...the place is just a haven for waterfalls of all sizes...Kananaskis Country...
