Revive on hills?

I have not owned one, but from what I have heard: the Revive is "okay"
as an electric-powered bike, but is poor as a pedal-powered bike. The
riding position is really not that good. They say the electric is a
"motor assist" but perhaps the motor is the main propulsion, and you are
the "pedal assist".

Many people rave about the RANS crank-forward bikes, and they don't come
with motors at all, they are good for *pedalling*, and have full 3x8
gears. I'd suggest looking at getting one of them (I like the Dynamik
because its gots disk brakes, around $1000) and adding a motor on it if
you need the assist. Assuming some motor can be fit upon it, that is...
-that is one aspect I have not checked into myself. But they are fairly
similar to a standard upright bike, but still more comfortable to ride.
