retractable roofs

i do, and it is a major hassle. Everyone wants the roof open more/less
and it creates constant friction.

i work in southern California, and as nice as the weather is here, the
swim lesson instructors and the aquafit patrons insist on having the
roof completely closed. On top of that, the aquatics director has no
established protocol for closing the roof or even turning the fans on
when the roof is closed.

This makes the air quality disgusting, the environment hot and
smothering...and loud. All those glass surfaces just trap and bounce
every sound. Coaching/teaching is nearly impossible.

If you do get a roof, i would suggest getting all staff together, and
establish some guidelines/rules as to how/when to close/open the roof,
and make it mandatory to turn on the fans when the roof is completely
closed.
