  1. Hey guys this may sound a little weird but over the past few weeks I have noticed I can't get my legs rested. In fact the only time they feel good is when I'm riding or running. I have really hit the season hard and have been riding much more than last year, as well I have incorporated running into my regimine. It is not the obvious, I'm taking time off between big events. If I do a long ride or some big climbs I take a couple days off and lately I have been keeping things down to 3-4 times per week. I'm just thinking it has to be a nutritional thing, what do you think. I'm 25 and I feel I'm in pretty good shape going into the season. I'm not alone either my twin Bro., who's my riding partner and has almost an identical diet is feeling the same.

Not clear what you mean. Are you saying your legs are fatigued all the time? I thought that, but then you said they feel good when you're running or riding, so that wouldn't make sense. I think I'm misunderstanding something?

What I mean is when I'm not running or riding they feel fatigued. I've just been pushing through it and they feel better during my workout, but 30 min after, fatigued again.

  4. Are you referring to symptoms where your legs and whole body feel tight and restless, sort of fuzzy at the same time, and the only thing which makes you feel better is to either start riding the bike again, like you say, or to massage your muscles, hit them, stimulate blood flow in general?

I experience this, and also feel irritable and depressed after rides as short as 30 minutes, not going hard. I am 33 and only ride about 20 miles/week because of this. I don't have time to ride too much anyway, but I sure wish I could go out for a 20-miler, easy-paced, and feel good afterwards. But I can't.
