    Hello.

I am looking to make Pizza at home, but just like the real authentic kind you get delivered from Take-
Aways with the nice fluffy soft bready texture.

I'm not into Deep Pan, or really thin. I'm just looking for standard size pizza.

If you have any recipes for the dough and toppings and how to get it just like from the Take-Away
but at home I would love to hear them.

    Thanks

    John

I actually have several Angel Food cake recipes, but I can't get them to = get all high and puffy,
they usually don't rise much more than 1/2 way = up the pan. Is there such a thing as a "never fail"
Angel Food cake = recipe, or does anyone have suggestions about technique?

    Thanks, Barry Aldridge

Query: A recipe found in Yankee Magazine several years ago

Around 10 years ago I made a recipe from the magazine which was quite tasty, though look as I may, I
    have not found the recipe.

    The ingredients:

potatoes apples ham brown sugar butter salt pepper water

Preparation: In a large skillet arrange in layers, some potatoes cut lengthwise and lightly salt and
pepper both sides of the slices; next comes a layer of ham slices; core out some apples and (I don't
recall if such were supposed to be peeled or not), then layer those on top of the potatoes; put a
pat of butter on top of the apples, then sprinkle some brown sugar on top of the butter; repeat the
process until the top of the pan is reached. Lastly add about a cup of water, cook on the stove top
in a covered skillet on low heat. It is done when you "smell apple pie".

If anyone has the issue (?), or knows the recipe could you please post it? :-)
