I am looking for a good fruit pie recipe for pineapple. In the 50's I
    went
into the military and they served the best pineapple pie (not the cream
kind), and I would like to do the same. Can anyone of you out there help
    me
    out? Thanks in advance.

I'm looking for a good lemon blueberry muffins recipe.
I remember a few years ago, Tim Horton's used to sell
such a muffin as part of their "Fruit Explosion"
promotion, and they were delicious. Subsequent
promotions have excluded them much to my dismay.

It would be great if someone knows the recipe for "Chester Fried Chicken."
It is a delicious southern style batter fried chicken.

    Thanks.

thing, or know where I can get one?

    Many thanks,

    Hello,
I have a copy of the River Cottage Cook Book and in there is a recipe
for mince pies where the mincemeat is made with real minced beef. This
recipe makes canned mincemeat. I am looking for a recipe for a mincemeat
pie with real meat which can be made without first canning the mincemeat.

    Thanks

I've been buying pickled eggs from a local grocery story. The eggs are
in a jar of reddish liquid, which I believe is beet juice and they
won't tell me for obvious reasons (they get 89 cents for two eggs).

Anyone have any ideas on how I could make these at home? Maybe there
is a better juice to pickle them that I am unaware of??

    Recipes/comments are appreciated--and encouraged!

    Thanks,
    Bozo

When I was growing up, my mom always served peas or corn as a side dish
for spaghetti or pasta. (I know kinda starchy meal).. but anyways, so
thats what I am used to in preparing a meal.
My fiance thinks this is strange when I serve spaghetti and peas.

We serve pasta as a main entre for a meal, the sauce seperate becuase
the kids like butter and cheese on their pasta with no tomato sauce.

What vegetable is good for a simple side dish?

Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill serves lobster burritos. I am looking for a
recipe using fake lobster or langostinos. Thanks
