How do I ensure hat when making Chili Paste/Preserve it doesn't "explode"
when opening? Do I use an alcohol base (Vodka?) to preserve/prevent this
happening?

Cold CoucCous Salad - slightly sweet
Recently I had a cold couscous salad from Whole Foods. It had raisins or
cranberries in it, and carrots. I couldn't identify anything else. It had
a slightly sweet taste, without being overwhelming. Can anyone help?
