I didn't know what to call this. I had it in a restaurant
that no longer exists :-(
It was a bread as smooth, moist and dense as banana loaf
bread but made from strawberries. I've tried to recreate a
recipe on my own, to no avail. Hopefully some wonderful
someone has one to share?

I am looking for a recipe for tomatoe slices. Two tomato
slices are sanwiched around a mixture of crean cheese and
herbs. Then it is dipped in batter or maybe just rolled in
crumbs and pan fried. It isa called something like tomatoes
from the country. It is great with a heavenly taste.
