Hi All,
I want to make a braised steak dish with a red wine based sauce, that I
can make in the slow cooker. Anyone have a good recipe or any links to a
good recipe?
Thanks for your time,
Steve

Yep. But spell it "beef burgundy" 😉
Or "boeuf bourguignon", for that matter...

I would agree. Not only can sw not spell "burgundy", he doesn't have any
idea what Boeuf bourguignon is. Boeuf bourguignon is the benchmark braised
beef dish.
Steve, try something similar to this:

You can't use steak; you have to use a cut of beef that needs long slow
braising. Beef chuck is the usual standard, but you can use other cuts
that benefit from slow cooking.
Good cooking to you,
Kent
