Republican-held Congress "stonewalling"

Why has the Repub.-held congress stonewalled intelligence reform which they initially championed😕 Is it a ploy to rubber stamp their imperialistic ideals through the death of innocents? Why does bush advocate drivers license to illegals, other than to increase his party's voting base through "giveaway's" ? The terrorists had driver licenses. The pentagon (Rumsfeld) do not want to give up their "stranglehold" on the intelligence community & therefore want to have the CIA director be the intelligence head, as if that guy doesn't have enough to do w/ that bureaucracy in dire need of reform, as opposed to having an independent intelligence czar; there are 12 agencies to oversee- by the way. The republican leaders are either incompetent or members of a cabal to increase American imperial (PNAC oriented)/military/industrial might through chaos (death). If your a repub. & aren't aware of the PNAC you should find out what's guiding your neocon leaders. Does anyone else see this dichotomy? They run on morality through the ruse of God, Guns, & Gays then, put the American public in danger through inaction or misguided policies.
