Can anyone give details on this bike? It's the 25th Anniversary of a GIOS Super Record, and GIOS has come out with a replica/reproduction. I know it has the coin in the fork crown, threaded steerer, deda tubing, not columbus. Basically, how do they handle, ride, or flex? Were the originals really as good as they looked or could de Vlaeamick ridden a PX10 to victory?

I don't think anyone can answer your question since the 25th is so new. The new frame's fork crown is not right and the frame is missing the toptube decal and the chainstays don't look round. I own two late 70 GIOS Super Records (one track, one road). I consider them collector value because I cherish older ITL frames (not all) and De Vlaeamick was one of my heros. My frames were very well made (with an amazing 128mm rear in 1978!). Too bad my road frame is too small for me. I prefer the ride of a De Rosa best.

I do not know. But- PX10s took a lot more victories than Gios

My mistake, I meant the seattube tubing decal is missing. Also, the cable stop should be brazed closer to the dropout on the right chainstay and my seatstay caps didn't have GIOS on them.
