  1. Why do you ride one of those? What is the purpose of that type of bike?

    I've got this lined up as my answer:

    I am an Olympic class cyclist. Elite top performance cyclists use these bikes to isolate and develop
    the pedalling motion. You don't see many cyclists riding these 1) because when we are actually doing
    the race we use a regular bike so you won't see them on TV on at the races 2) There are very few top
    Olympic class atheletes so I am not suprised you don't see many of them.

    That will impress them, if they don't notice my belly.

    Andrew Douglas of bentrideronline has a sticker on his bike that says "because its comfortable". :-)
