My question is if I buy shorter stem will a Easton EA50 fit or do I need a giant one? Thanks for your help I can't wait for the season to begin its above freezing today in Ontario,Canada today!!!!!

Any stem will fit as long as the steerer clamp and the handlebar diameter match yours.Chances are the steerer clamp is 1 1/8" (28.6mm) and the bar is either 26.0 or 31.8mm. Measure it if you need to.
