I have a very nice 10-year-old Proflex bike, still overall in good shape except for the rear elastomer spring. It seems the company no longer exists, so I am looking for alternatives, either buying such elastomer springs from some other source, or using something else that works as well. For the time being, I am actually using a stack of rubber gaskets, but of course that does not work nearly as well as the real thing.
Most dealers don't stock them, you probably will have to special order them unless you get lucky or order over the internet. Best bet for stocking among LBS is one that focusses on competition MTB or possibly bents.
