Since 2004 I have been riding a Giant FCR2. Was quite humble and all that I could afford at the time (got it discounted for £275!). Have absolutely loved this bike, but it got stolen last week.
I used it with intermittent frequency for a 3 mile commute, occasional holidays and the odd trip to the shops. Now need a replacement. I like going fast, and used 23mm tyres on the FCR2.
I think I want a road bike (not chunky hybrid) but like the riding position of the old FCR2, with a straight bar. This is the bike Giant Bikes - Bicycles / Archive
My budget is probably £900
