Hi!
I have received some damage in the coating (from stones and the like) in the red coating on my Pinarello 4:13. Does anyone know what kind of paint I should use for repairing these stone shoots?
Can you use color for cars on a carbon frame?

You can use pretty much any enamal paint that you want to cover small nicks. I have had good luck with model paints. If you are really worried about it, you can check with the LBS where you bought the bike and they might be able to get actual Pinarello touch up paint for you. It will probably cost a lot more than finding your own though.

Model paint or auto touch-up paint (better color selection). Lightly sand the area to remove any raised edges, then apply paint; wet sand with 2000 grit, apply clear coat finish if yours has it.
I have touched-up the painted areas of my carbon frame and you can't tell where the touch-ups are. (took a while to match the color though)
