rent a recumbent

    I ride a Rans Stratus XP with panniers and do a lot of self supported
    touring in the USA. I am interested in the End to End ride in the U.K.
    as well as the circuit of the North
    Sea--http://www.challengebikes.com/html/index.php?taal=en&selectie=5000kmrecumbent

    That link is a terrific journal with pictures of a self supported tour
    as named by a 60ish Netherlander on a Challenge Fujin.

    Is it reasonable to think about renting a recumbent in the U.K. or
    perhaps the Netherlands? Shipping my bike--it is a long wheel base and
    is subject to both the bicycle fee and the oversize fee. I would need a
    bike for about a month. Thanks for any help.
