Rent a Bicycle suitcase

You might be able to use the strategem employed by a friend of mine
who once cycled on business to an bicycle unfriendly client
site. There was nothing outside he could lock his bike to, and the
security guards at the entrance would not permit him to take his
expensive bicycle inside. It turned out that the company rule was that
bicycles indoors were a health and safety hazard unless they were
secured in some kind of carrying case or bag.

My friend removed his leather briefcase from the rear carrier, opened
it, and then fastened the flap back over the top tube of his
bicycle. He then lifted the bicycle up by the briefcase handle and
asked if that would do as a bicycle bag. The security men doubted it,
but he made them get their boss, who consulted the rules and
reluctantly conceded that within the wording of the rules it did
indeed constitute a bicycle carrying bag.
