When I ride after about 20 minutes I get a sharp cramp below my ribcage. A solid, “who shoved a knife in me” cramp. After 5-10 minutes of easing off it just fades away, and I can go full speed. Does not seem to vary with intensity of ride…
The novelty of this has worn off. Suggestions?

Eat your last meal 1-2 hours before your ride. Warm up with 10-15 minutes of easy spinning before your ride. Try that.

I never had this problem until several months of not doing any crunches or leg raises. And then it would only be during the hardest interval workouts. After resuming my ab work, the side stitches went away. It's worth a try...
