refillable inflator cartridges

I'm not so sure you could refill them. First, most cartridges I've seen are CO2 filled. And secondly you would have to have a resealable top if you do plan to refill them yourself.

However, looking at Genuine Innovations (a company that does CO2 inflators) it seems that their cartridges are "100% recyclable along with other steel products". Might be worth looking into. Granted IMO, it would be better if the company would offer some sort of return policy for empty cartridges. Probably could save them money if they can reuse the metal without having to remold a new one.
