OK, here's a thread about recycling stuff. Last year on a century ride out to North Yorks, one of my pedal cages snapped, meaning I had to limp to a nearby market town and get a large hairdressers/garden supplies/pet/clothes/bike store to put some new pedals on so I could ride home.
Since I've got some new Shimano 515 pedals (it's OK, the Cateye lights and Mizuno fork are Japanese as well ;-) I thought I'd package the old pedals up and send them back to the store in case anyone else passing by needs them in the future. Better than kicking around in my garage :-)
One puzzling thing is that it says my shoes cannot be used for road riding.
